A parcel came back. Six people handled it.

Give your players evidence with a person behind every line: a hurried private warning with a word struck out, a clerk's corrected counterfoil and rubber stamp, an inspector's pencilled custody tag, a mechanic's capitals on a repair sketch, and the typed orders that started it all. Undelivered brings six archive records to journals, close-up inspection screens and narrative interfaces, ready for your own story.

New in 2.1.0: write your own records. Open the offline record composer, type your words and watch them re-lettered in the same hands as you type: struck false starts, underlines and smears included. Tick which wear each record carries, shrink the tea ring for a teacup, arrange records on a desk, then export.

Inside the download

• An offline record composer (HTML/JS, runs from the downloaded folder): live lettering for every record's variable text, a blank-form switch, per-record wear toggles with optional scale/offset, and a desk where you drag, rotate, stack, save and load records. It warns you when a line would run off the paper.
• Exports: record PNG at 768×1024 or 384×512, desk PNG at 1600×1000, a Godot 4 scene (.tscn) per record or desk with each wear mark as its own toggleable node ($ReturnedLetter/Wear/TeaRing.visible = true), and narrative.json for exact rebuilds.
• Six unique designs: returned letter, receipt counterfoil, inspection tag, maintenance sketch, dispatch slip and route diagram.
• 48 transparent PNGs: populated and blank variants, each clean and worn, at 768×1024 and 384×512.
• Selectable wear, as layers: a tea ring and an ink smear on the letter, a clerk's thumbprint and bent corner on the counterfoil, the dried trail of a damp cord across the custody tag, damp along the route chart's lower edge, an oily thumbprint on the workshop sheet, and more.
• 12 layered OpenRaster (.ora) sources: paper or printed form, each writer's hand, stamp, pen marks and every wear mark on separate named layers.
• The rebuild script (build.py, Python with Pillow and numpy) turns your narrative.json into new layered sources and both PNG sizes. Fonts and printed forms are included.
• The offline comparison desk from 2.0.0, plus instructions, artwork terms, MIT code licence, font licences and provenance.

Good to know

• The composer is a faithful preview; the exported narrative.json is the master for pixel-identical files. Rebuild from it when you need exact PNGs.
• The Godot export was opened unchanged in Godot 4.6.1 (Compatibility renderer): records, rotation and wear toggles match the composer's desk. Other engines get aligned layer PNGs and a desk JSON; no importer for them is included.
• The composer was exercised in desktop Chromium on Linux. The salutation and printed form text are fixed; it is a starting point for your own interface, not a deduction system.

Every Goblin pack has its own look. What they share is that each one comes with a way to use it. These sit well beside Undelivered in a small story game; each is a separate download.

Make it part of your world

Commercial game/app use, modification and integrated distribution are permitted. Attribution is optional. Standalone artwork resale or redistribution is restricted by the included artwork licence; the composer, builder and desk code use MIT. AI provenance is recorded in the download and the platform classification.
