Margins Guild — Fantasy Animal Icons

A courier hare. A lantern-carrying eel. A guild of animals with jobs — and room for your own game.

Margins Guild is a set of eight medieval-inspired fantasy animal illustrations. Use them as portraits, quest givers, map markers, faction emblems or menu art. The role names describe the drawings; you choose their names, relationships and stories.

Adapt it to your game

The included example is one possible interface, not a complete game or a prescribed story. PNGs are static illustrations with alpha. Source layers let you inspect the complete body and principal job-prop paint. Ready-made separate animal/tool PNG variants are not supplied; you can export components from the sources, with the documented contact-patch limits. Major prop changes may require repainting overlaps.

No animation, directional frames, rig, vectors, PSDs, audio or full illustrated UI kit is included. The runtime artwork was accepted for 128/256-pixel display; smaller use and additional engines were not verified.

Licence and provenance

Personal and commercial game/application use, modification and integrated redistribution are permitted under the included artwork licence. Attribution is optional. Standalone asset/library resale or redistribution is prohibited. Example code is MIT; that licence does not change the artwork terms.

The artwork contains AI-generated components, refined and assembled into editable sources. Code and documentation were AI-assisted. No exclusivity or guaranteed copyright registrability is promised. The included provenance explains the process and editing limits.

For a defect report, include the version, filename and failing view/import behaviour. Follow Goblin for future assets and practical adaptation notes.
