A station still keeping watch

An open ledger. A silent cable. A light held against the rain.

Last Light gives your narrative game three atmospheric coastal interiors: a keeper’s desk for intimate conversations, a cable room for listening and waiting, and a lantern gallery opening toward uncertain weather. Worn blue-green surfaces, brass and amber lamps connect the rooms while each composition gives the scene a different mood.

Use them for dialogue backgrounds, chapter transitions or exploration stills. Bring your own characters and story, or let an empty room carry the pause.

Included:

• Three distinct interior compositions, each as opaque PNGs at 1280 × 720 and 640 × 360.
• Three 1672 × 941 flattened PNG masters for pixel editing and alternate crops.
• An adaptable offline HTML dialogue example with scene selection, editable names/text, two display sizes and an adjustable, hideable light/dark panel.
• Preview, import/adaptation instructions and clear artwork/MIT terms.

The paintings are complete static backgrounds; objects and lighting are baked together. The fictional rooms suggest a shared station rather than a navigable architectural plan. The offline example lets you try your own scene names and dialogue, choose a light or dark panel, and adjust or hide it to reveal more of the painting. Its controls were checked locally in Chromium 154 on Debian 13 using scripted events. Other browsers, mobile layouts and engine import are untested. The PNGs work independently of the example.

Commercial game use and modification permitted. Attribution optional. Artwork may be distributed within your games and applications, with private project-team sharing; standalone asset redistribution is excluded. Example code, scene data and documentation use MIT. Exact terms and provenance are included in the download.
